AEI Consultants is currently conducting a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment ***AND*** Property Condition Assessment for the property located at 12169 Old Gentilly Road, New Orleans, LA 701269. AEI Project: 408568. PM(s): N. Yockey & C. Vieira .
As part of this assessment, I am required to request the following information concerning this property from departments within the City of New Orleans, including, but not limited to, the following:
Local Health or Environmental Department for information on environmental code violations, the storage, generation, usage, or spillage of hazardous substances, petroleum products, pollutants, or controlled substances, and any other environmental conditions for the property.
Fire Department for information on the storage, generation, usage, or spillage of hazardous substances, petroleum products, pollutants, or controlled substances, and any other environmental conditions for the property, AND copies of any outstanding violations.
Building Department for copies of Certificates of Occupancy and building permits from the property’s first development to current date (year, type of permit, and owner/applicant), any other environmental conditions at the property, AND copies of any outstanding violations.
Planning and Zoning to identify if the property has Activity and Use Limitations (AULs), defined as legal or physical restrictions or limitations on the use of, or access to the property. AULs are comprised of engineering controls (physical modifications to reduce potential of exposure to hazardous substances or petroleum products in soil or ground water) and institutional controls (legal or administrative restrictions on the use of or access to a site to reduce potential of exposure to hazardous substances or petroleum products in soil or ground water, or to prevent interference with remedial actions).
