In accordance with the state's Public Records Law, La. Rev. Stat. Ann. Secs. 44:1 et seq., I ask that the following records be made available for immediate review and/or copy: 

  • Any and all communications between Randy Smith, Director of Business Development at Royal Engineers & Consultants, LLC, and
    • Council member Kristen Gisleson Palmer since January 1, 2018.
    • Council member Helena Moreno since January 1, 2018. 
    • Council member Jason Williams since January 1, 2018. 
    • Council member Jay Banks since January 1, 2018. 
    • Council member Joe Giarrusso since January 1, 2018.
    • Council member Jared Brossett since January 1, 2018.
    • Council member Cyndi Nguyen since January 1, 2018. 
  • Any and all meeting minutes including Randy Smith, Director of Business Development at Royal Engineers & Consultants, LLC, since January 1, 2018.

Electronic delivery (in PDF or Excel formats, for instance) and delivery by email are agreeable and preferred. 

Under the aforementioned Public Records Law, we are requesting the following: 

Please acknowledge your receipt of this request within THREE WORKING DAYS (this is a deadline for your acknowledgment of our request, not a deadline for fulfillment).

Make the requested records immediately available IF they are not in active use.

If the records are in active use, please set a day and hour within a reasonable time frame when the records will be made available.

If the records are not in your custody, please immediately state that in writing, and state in details why the records are absent, where they are, and the name of the person who has custody.

If there is a question whether these are public records, please provide a written reason for the denial within THREE WORKING DAYS.

If you plan to charge a fee for the documents, please state the amount and reason for fee before making records available.

Fees - We accept cash (please pay exact amount), check, or money order payable to the City of New Orleans

Mail or pick-up - You may remit payment and retrieve the records directly from our receptionist. Or you may mail payment to our office; upon receipt of payment we will mail the records to the address you provide.
