I request the following documents related to the demolition of the Hard Rock Hotel:

  • All demolition plans submitted to the city so far along with any accompanying analysis and any independent analysis or reports on those plans produced by third parties (whether those parties are working on behalf of the city or not).
  • Please provide any cost estimates for any of the demolition plans submitted so far, if those estimates are not included in the documents requested above.
  • Any documents provided to the city on the insurance coverage for any firms involved in the Hard Rock Hotel project.

(Note: these requests may have previously been provided to the City Attorney's Office by the Mayor's communications team. They were included in an email I sent to the communications team on Jan. 24, 2020.)

The City does not have records responsive to your request # 2.  Records responsive to your request # 3 have been compiled and are available for your review, or you may purchase the records on a compact disc for $25.00.

To review or purchase your records in person, please contact the City Attorney's Office Public Records Team at 504-658-9800 to schedule a day and time.

Fees - We accept cash (please pay exact amount), check, or money order payable to the City of New Orleans

Mail or pick-up - You may remit payment and retrieve the records directly from our receptionist. Or you may mail payment to our office; upon receipt of payment we will mail the records to the address you provide.

Please schedule a day and time with our office prior to picking up records to ensure that the records are with the receptionist.   Or you may mail payment to our office; upon receipt of payment we will mail the records to the address you provide.
